My client is one of the best known and longest established names in their field and have enjoyed a renaissance since undergoing a rebranding and refocusing exercise that lead them to concentrate on major corporate customers. As part of this focus, they have enjoyed unparalleled success in sourcing, tendering for, and winning major new contracts, and have a hugely impressive track record of converting leads and opportunities into sales wins. In such a hunter driven environment, however, they have realised that they lack the skills to manage long term key account clients, and rather than disrupt the make up of the current team, they are instead seeking to bring in an experienced, ambitious individual with a track record of successful key account management to look after their major customers, and to begin to develop a team of people to offer such customer service across a broader part of the client portfolio. You will possess an enquiring, analytical mind, be good at analysing and presenting data in such a way as to understand individual customer requirements and issues, and have the personality and ability to turn potential problems into sales opportunities. With a background working with customers in facilities management, education, social housing and retail, and keen to take on a high profile role that will involve periods in Head Office and on the road, you will possess the self-confidence to embrace the pressure and expectations and develop a long term future.
