My client is a long established business with an excellent history and a bright future. They take great pride in two facts - they are able to offer long term careers to their staff and their employees rarely, if ever, leave. They are now looking to recruit an experienced purchase ledger clerk to a key role in their head office finance team, working closely with the finance director and the other members of the department. You will be responsible for matching, batching and coding invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, ensuring that the payment runs are completed accurately and dealing with any queries relating to the purchase ledger function. A good telephone manner, knowledge of purchase ledger and experience of both Sage and Excel spreadsheets are imperative; in return you will receive a competitive salary package, 25 days holiday and flexi-time.
