The technical department can cover a multitude of roles that can be called many weird and wonderful things. We see the technical department as the support structure for the manufacturing and engineering departments.
We know that these staff may not always be on the shop floor or in plain sight but never the less, they are there. Usually dealing with suppliers, sales teams and meeting with clients to discuss their needs. These individuals are without doubt the oil that keeps things running smoothly on a day to day basis.
