Having recently launched a series of new products, and with a number of key executives recently appointed, they are now looking to strengthen their service delivery team with the recruitment of an experienced Head of Operations to implement blue chip systems, procedures and project management skills into the business. Reporting to the board and providing functional support to other areas of the business, you will be educated to at least degree level, preferably Prince2 trained and have significant experience of project delivery within a SaaS environment. The role is multi-dimensional, addressing not only internal systems and procedures, but also ensuring that service delivery to clients is maintained at its current excellent rate and that any areas of customer dis-satisfaction are dealt with in a mature, professional and above all timely way. You will be able to demonstrate a strong IT background, preferably with experience of cloud based systems, and be adept at designing and implementing a reporting structure and format that provides key management information at all levels within the organisation. Software Product Development Manager, Cheshire, to £28,000pa

November 13th, 2015

Job of the Week!

My client is the market leader in the their chosen field, a position they have achieved not just through the quality of their products and customer service, but also because of the way they engage with their customer base to develop the next generation of products. As part of their continued desire to stay one step ahead, they are now seeking to appoint an ambitious, articulate and analytical graduate to a new role working closely with the customer base and the software developers as part of the product development team. Ideally you will have had some experience within a software business, but if not you may well be a recent graduate from a mathematics, ICT or computer science background, and have had significant post graduation experience in a customer facing role. Your function will be to gather feedback from the existing customer base (via e-mail, telephone, focus groups) on the current product portfolio, on the issues that they are likely to face moving forward or on the functionality of the product itself. Taking this information, you will then be expected both to analyse and report on it, before translating those ideas into an action plan that the software developers will be able to implement. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious graduate with excellent communication skills, looking for a role involving a degree of travel around the UK that is certainly neither routine nor run of the mill.

As part of these plans, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious individual to a role working closely with the Managing Director and Finance Director, overseeing all operational aspects of the business. Online Marketing Manager, Wirral, c£25,000pa

October 2nd, 2015

Job of the Week!

My client is a dynamic, expanding organisation whose success and growth has largely gone unnoticed. Keen to keep the business ahead of the competition, they have embraced all aspects of marketing and, in particular, the digital marketplace, as a way of maintaining competitive advantage and keeping in touch with their customer base. Due to the very success of all of their marketing initiatives, they have now taken the decision to separate new media from more traditional approaches and are therefore looking to recruit a CIM qualified, experienced digital marketeer to manage all of their social media and online marketing activity. In addition to being extremely organised, they are seeking someone with a flair for marketing and an interest in the latest trends; you will be responsible not just for social media, but also website optimisation utilising both SEO and PPC, Google + and Analytics, all electronic customer contact, in addition to more prosaic duties such as ensuring the integrity of the website and CRM system. Your experience can have been acquired in any environment (agency or in-house), but you must have top drawer knowledge of Hootsuite, WordPress and Google optimisation rules, and be keen to take on both the autonomy and responsibility for delivering my client’s digital messages.

Commercial & Operations Director, Cheshire, c£65,000pa + benefits

This summer’s top job (if you can call it summer)……………..

This is a career defining opportunity. My client is a well established, highly profitable organisation that has forged an enviable reputation not through the hard sell or overambitious promises but through the quality of their product portfolio, their customer first approach and their support network. As part of these plans, they are seeking to appoint an experienced, customer focussed commercial and operations director to a key role in the senior management team.

There are any number of aspects to the role but perhaps the top three would be –
* maintaining the focus on customers, and not losing sight of the principles and
reputation that has brought them such success thus far
* overseeing the project delivery teams, maintaining the high standards that they
have so far attained, and
* developing and implementing the overall commercial strategy of the business
