Job of the Week!

My client is a long established, highly regarded business, with a strong and loyal blue chip customer base, an enviable reputation for quality and clear plans about their future direction. As part of these plans, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious individual to a role working closely with the Managing Director and Finance Director, overseeing all operational aspects of the business. The duties are tremendously varied, from ensuring best practice and first rate HSEQ, to workflow planning and HR, to working on tenders and developing long term customer relationships. There are many facets to the role, and it is imperative that you can display excellence in all of them. You will be articulate and numerate, possessing strong man-management skills without needing to micro-manage each situation, a desire to ensure the highest possible standards, and experience of working under, and reporting on, the strict operating procedures, protocols and KPIs that enable any business to be successfully managed, and the risk to it minimised. A key part of the role is working as part of the team that defines and implements the long term business strategy, such that the company can continue to thrive without losing sight of either its fundamental beliefs or its core focus. This is an opportunity that offers huge responsibility but demands accountability in return; this is not just a new job, this is the chance to develop a whole new career.

Job of the Week!

My client is a dynamic, expanding organisation whose success and growth has largely gone unnoticed. Keen to keep the business ahead of the competition, they have embraced all aspects of marketing and, in particular, the digital marketplace, as a way of maintaining competitive advantage and keeping in touch with their customer base. Due to the very success of all of their marketing initiatives, they have now taken the decision to separate new media from more traditional approaches and are therefore looking to recruit a CIM qualified, experienced digital marketeer to manage all of their social media and online marketing activity. In addition to being extremely organised, they are seeking someone with a flair for marketing and an interest in the latest trends; you will be responsible not just for social media, but also website optimisation utilising both SEO and PPC, Google + and Analytics, all electronic customer contact, in addition to more prosaic duties such as ensuring the integrity of the website and CRM system. Your experience can have been acquired in any environment (agency or in-house), but you must have top drawer knowledge of Hootsuite, WordPress and Google optimisation rules, and be keen to take on both the autonomy and responsibility for delivering my client’s digital messages.
