My client is an ambitious, expanding company offering a unique and market leading product to a wide range of potential customers. Having enjoyed significant success and growth in the last couple of years, they are now looking to recruit an enthusiastic, adaptable and hardworking individual to work within the existing Head Office team. Your duties will be to manage all aspects of sales administration, customer orders and customer service, and to follow up all new sales enquiries by email, post or telephone; additionally, you will have significant contact with both key suppliers and their own warehouse. You must therefore be able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy, in addition to possessing a good telephone manner, an ability to pick things up quickly and a “can do” attitude. Although you will not be expected to be vastly experienced (aptitude and personality count for as much as experience), you must have had exposure to an office environment, and be comfortable using accounts packages, spreadsheets and Microsoft. This is not just a stepping stone; there are genuine career prospects with the company as it continues to develop both its UK and export markets.
