My client is a well respected, long established manufacturing SME servicing a unique and highly regulated market. As part of their current growth plans, and with a view to expanding the services that they can offer their client base, they are looking to recruit a dynamic and ambitious Quality Systems Manager with experience of designing and implementing several business critical quality accreditations including ISO 17025, ISO Guide 34 and ISO 17043. Your duties will include maintenance of the existing quality system, conducting internal quality audits and managing external assessment audits, in addition to liaising with other parts of the business, external laboratories and external assessment bodies. This is a very autonomous role; you will be given complete responsibility for keeping the business at the forefront of the regulatory environment, monitoring and analysing regulations, guidelines and standards, and ensuring your own CPD through further training, education and knowledge gathering. The business would, in turn, expect you to design, organise and promote a quality culture, developing and disseminating standards, metrics and standard operating procedure (SOP) management. This is a vital role within the company, maintaining their competitive edge through the maintenance of the highest possible quality standards.
