My client is on the cusp of a massive expansion programme. Having cleverly and carefully established a reputation for quality and customer service, they are now about to launch a number of cutting edge products onto the market, all of which are light years ahead of those their competitors can offer. Having spent a significant period of time and money addressing their branding, traditional marketing and web presence, they are now looking to recruit a digital communications specialist to take this message to the marketplace. They are not looking for a website designer, but instead someone with a proven track record of engaging with new and existing customers across the full range of digital media, whether that is social media, web campaigns or via an innovative use of e-mails. We are looking to speak to creative individuals who can demonstrate success in translating senior management’s ideas into proven business generators, and can give plenty of examples of how their creative digital marketing projects have directly influenced the lead generation and sales performance of the business. This experience may have been gained either in-house or on an agency basis, but it is crucial that your efforts have directly influenced the sales pipeline. It is not too strong to suggest that this role is key to the expansion of the business as the directors wish, and in return they will offer complete autonomy, in addition to a planned career path that will quickly involve staff management.
