You will be able to demonstrate a track record of success on a global canvass, with particular emphasis on emerging markets such as the Middle East, Asia and South America. Your experience will not only include managing and developing long term client relationships, but also sourcing, selecting and managing a network of distributors and sales agents. Naturally you will have a thorough understanding of the cultural differences across different parts of the globe, but additionally you will have had significant exposure to construction, civil engineering or specifier markets and probably have an engineering or technical products background.
