My client is a genuine British success story and has strengthened its position in the marketplace over the last few years while others have declined. In part this is due to an innovative range of products and considered marketing, but also through moving into new areas at the correct time. As part of their current growth plans, they are seeking to bring in an enthusiastic and accomplished sales professional to a new, autonomous role working closely with the other members of the tightly knit sales team. Your remit will cover both existing customers and new business development within the retail, wholesale and trade sale sectors, but also include merchandising, liaising with retailers on the best display methods and attendance at trade shows and exhibitions. This is not a job where you will be stuck in the office, telephoning a dwindling list of potential contacts, nor one where you would be expected to be on the road ten hours per day five days per week. My client is looking for a sales professional who can deliver long term, sustainable sales relationships, and who is seeking a long term opportunity where their rewards and responsibilities will grow as the business grows. Knowing the potential extent of the market and recognising the quality of sales professional that they require, they fully expect this person to be developing a nationwide sales team within a very short period of time, and be aiming for a senior management role within the company.
