Job of the Week!
My client is an astonishing success story. In the course of the last twelve months they have seized the opportunity afforded to them by the collapse of their primary market and emerged with a broader product base and wider range of better quality customers. To that end, 2013 proved to be a very good year, and 2014 promises even more. Seeking to capitalise on this, they have forged ahead with growth plans in the US and now wish to turn their attention to the European marketplace. Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, you will have responsibility for managing key accounts and developing new business across the whole of mainland Europe. Much of the groundwork and research has already been undertaken, and they are looking to bring someone in to both use this information and leverage their own contacts to develop new routes to market. Prerequisites for the role are fluent French (and preferably another language) and a proven track record of new business development across at least one European country; such is the size of the potential marketplace, they are not restricting their requirements to the top two or three economies of the region. The icing on the cake for them would be someone with experience of selling into the consumer sector, through either traditional retail, major multiples or e-commerce channels. This is a unique opportunity to join a business with clear strategies in terms of both sales growth and new product development, one that allows their sales team to develop business where they see fit, but which supports them with first class customer service and aftercare.
