My client is an outstanding, innovative company offering unique electrical engineering solutions, and counting amongst their customers a dozen or so who are the global no1 businesses in their respective fields.
Self funding, with a strong track record of growth to this point, they are now seeking to capitalise on their reputation with the aim of doubling turnover within five years. To enable them to achieve this, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic individual to a new role of Sales & Marketing Director, working closely with the Managing Director and Chairman.
Your responsibilities will cover the full spectrum of sales and marketing duties, including e-marketing, web presence, trade awareness and profile raising, managing the existing sales team, based both in the UK and mainland Europe, key account management and seeking out and converting new business. In addition to displaying a track record of success, and of developing sales via a range of channels, you must also have an electrical engineering background, and be accustomed to solution selling at boardroom level.
