Job of the Week!
My client is a success story to be applauded; having weathered the bad times in the last couple of years by taking tough decisions and diversifying, they are now well placed to take full advantage of recovering markets and their loyal customer base. To enable this to happen, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic technical sales engineer to a new role covering a number of areas – account management of the existing UK client base, maximising revenue and exploring add-on sales avenues and also proactively seeking out business development opportunities. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record of success within a similar mechanical engineering environment, preferably currently dealing across the same sectors (automotive, MOD etc). This is not your run of the mill technical sales role – the business is keen to reward success both financially and in terms of career progression, and the stable platform that the company currently enjoys is the perfect springboard to this success, but you must be prepared for significant UK wide travel.
