Electromechanical Manufacturing Projects Manager

My client is a long established, highly regarded capital equipment designer and manufacturer, working closely with their global customer base to design and develop solutions tailored to their clients’ requirements. With one eye on their current sales pipeline and upcoming projects and the other on strengthening the senior management team as the company continues to grow, they are now looking to recruit an experienced, hardworking and ambitious senior manager with knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems to a multi-faceted, high profile position. In essence, there will be two distinct sides to the role; primarily, you will act as a key point of contact between Sales, Installation Service and Commissioning, sub-contract suppliers and the customer to deliver turnkey projects to agreed timescales and project milestones. However, if time allows, you will also be expected to work closely with the Board and other senior managers to support internal company improvement projects on current products and processes to streamline the business and improve efficiency. In addition to being able to demonstrate a track record of delivering projects, you must show strong technical ability, a good understanding of AutoCAD and MS Project (particularly Gantt charts and critical path analysis) and excellent interpersonal skills.
