My client is a long established, highly regarded capital equipment designer and manufacturer, working closely with their global customer base to design and develop solutions tailored to their client’s requirements. As part of their plans to continue their considered expansion into new markets and territories, they are now looking to recruit an ambitious and determined individual to a new role covering both internal and external sales management. With 80% of their business generated from overseas clients and the majority of that client base managed through their network of agents and distributors, they are keen to meet candidates with not only engineering sales experience but also a track record of getting the best out of locally based agents. They believe very strongly in the company being visible rather than just a website or brochure, and so the role will involve significant travel, not just to support the distributor network, but to engage with key existing and potential clients.
