My client is one of the most high profile and dynamic businesses in the North West, bucking all current trends and offering long term job security to the highest calibre candidates. As part of the plans to provide increased support to the Board and senior members of the finance team, they are now looking to recruit an experienced and hard working individual to a role of management accountant. This is so far removed from a traditional management accountant role that there will be relatively few candidates with the correct background. At its most basic, you must have demonstrable experience of producing complex and informative management accounts and consolidations. You must also have very strong cashflow management and forecasting experience, excellent spreadsheet skills and preferably Navision knowledge. However, we are also seeking candidates who have experience of some, or preferably all, of the following - detailed analysis by customer, product and income stream, designing and implementing genuine improvements in the quality of management information and of assessing the reporting requirements of the business. You must be detail driven with good reporting skills and possess an intuitive approach to problem solving.
