My client is a group of three companies on the verge of a major expansion programme following recent investment and new products coming into the business stream. As part of this growth, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced company accountant to report to the Managing Director. You will have responsibility for a small finance team, and managing the relationships with the banks, external accountants and statutory authorities. The client is keen to bring on board an individual who can assist in the strategic direction of the business, so you will be extremely IT literate with good spreadsheet skills, and be able to provide high quality management information such as cashflow forecasting and management accounts. Experience of foreign currency transactions and importing would be an advantage.
