My client is a long established, very profitable business operating in a number of sectors across the entire UK economy. Such diversity has enabled them to weather the recent challenges and moving forward they are now keen to strengthen their existing finance department. Ideally looking for a candidate who has already embarked on further study towards AAT or similar, my client is expecting that this person will be able to demonstrate a couple of years worth of relevant experience and knowledge of both Sage Line 50 and the full Microsoft Office suite. You will be responsible for monthly sales invoicing, entry and reconciliation of sales and purchase ledger items, BACS payment processing and bank and general ledger reconciliations as well as producing ad hoc reports and information. There will also be the potential to be involved in the implementation and roll out of the upgraded accounting system. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to gain not only a good grounding in day to day accounting but also be involved in the positive changes that are being introduced to the business.
