My client is a long established, highly regarded engineering company offering bespoke solutions across the construction and building management sectors, in both a new build and retro-fit capacity. With a hard-won reputation for quality of both product and service, and a right first time, every time ethos, they are now looking to build on their track record of success with the recruitment of an experienced regional sales manager. Responsible for business development across a geographical area, you will have experience of selling engineering solutions to customers across a broad spectrum of organisations, including local authority, housing associations and other public sector markets, commercial contractors, developers, facilities management companies and even individual businesses. To that end, you must be able to demonstrate putting together successful public sector tenders, have a good understanding of UK Building Regulations and an engineering background, giving you the ability and confidence to discuss appropriate and affordable solutions with clients, specifiers and contractors. Articulate in both written and spoken communication, with good surveying skills and previous experience of working remotely from Head Office, you will be seeking an opportunity to not only earn well, but also to develop a longer term career within a business that has a clear sense of direction.
