My client is a dynamic, ambitious organisation offering market-leading consultancy and management services to a large number of local authorities and blue chip property companies. As part of their growth plans, they are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hard-working and self-motivated individual to a new role within the senior management team. Directly responsible currently for six sites, there is a distinct split between the two parts to the role. On the one hand, you will have traditional (if remote) direct line responsibility for each site manager, and ultimately the profitability of the site; on the other hand, you will be expected to proactively lead the company’s letting activity, working to create and deliver specific tenant mix strategies across the sites as a whole and also each individual site, according to the plans of each specific landlord. As well as having a successful track record in remote line management, you will also need to demonstrate the ability to build meaningful relationships with a range of retailers, leisure operators and F&B providers and to be able to both attract and retain them in order to increase site occupancy and profitability levels. You will need to be flexible and organised, prepared to travel both to individual sites and head office in London, but this is a fascinating challenge and a huge opportunity for the right individual.
