My client is a long established multi-channel retailer with an enviable reputation for quality of customer service and the range of products that they can supply. As they look to move from more traditional routes to market to a more e-commerce led operation, they are seeking to appoint an experienced graduate marketeer to a new role, reporting to the Managing Director and heading up a small team. Whilst they are keen to recruit a digital and social media marketing specialist, it is imperative that you retain an understanding and appreciation of non-digital marketing, and you must be able to run end to end campaigns, complete with in-depth performance analysis and return on investment. As Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation, implementation and measurement of an effective marketing and brand strategy, so you must expect a degree of accountability and scrutiny in return for autonomy over the marketing ideas. At the end of the day, your role and that of your team is to drive interest in the company and ultimately sales; if you are able to confidently and consistently achieve this, then this role and company can offer you you a long term, challenging opportunity.
