QHSE Manager

Stoke on Trent

to 40,000pa + benefits

My client is the market leader in its field, with an enviable reputation for quality and innovation, a skilled and highly motivated workforce and clear plans about their future direction. As part of these plans they are now seeking to recruit an experienced Group QHSE Manager to a new role overseeing operations at three sites and managing a small team of dedicated individuals responsible for all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental matters throughout the Group. From a Quality perspective, you will be responsible for maintaining all BSI accreditations, in addition to other industry specific ones, and for FSC and CE Marking certification. You will also manage all internal and supplier audits, carrying out inspection and initial vetting of new suppliers including first article inspections on new products and working with suppliers and customers on non-conformities. Your Health & Safety duties will involve ensuring awareness and ongoing compliance to all relevant legislation, toolbox talks and installation/site safety audits, risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH assessments as required and ensuring that all appropriate courses and training are implemented, carried out and records maintained. You will also be the primary point of contact for all Environmental issues, ensuring that all current legislation is being adhered to (including third party requirements) and managing all waste streams and the relevant documentation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced manufacturing QHSE Manager who is looking for a bigger, more autonomous role and the chance to make a genuine and lasting difference.
