My client is an expanding SME with an exclusively blue chip client base and a well deserved reputation for the way they look after their employees. As part of the continued growth of one of their divisions, they are now looking to recruit and experienced stores person to a new role working in the office. The main duties of your role will be to handle all incoming stock, order despatch and stock control; their orders are despatched using a variety of means, including Royal Mail. It would be useful if you had good computer skills (the system they use is Sage), have experience of working in a high volume environment and have worked in a warehouse or stock control environment previously. This is a high profile role within the division, partly because there are relatively few people who work there, and partly because you will be pretty much the outward face of the business as the person responsible for orders being sent out on time and correctly. One word of caution Ė the company is a regular exhibitor at weekend trade shows, and as part of the team you will be expected to attend up to four of these every year. If that isnít a problem, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a genuinely interesting business.
