Business Development Manager

My client is an outstanding employer, with a dynamic expansion plan that revolves around increasing market share in its core markets and developing new business channels. As part of these growth plans, they are now seeking to recruit an ambitious, driven but above all successful new business development manager to a role based out of Trafford Park covering much of the Greater Manchester area. You will have complete autonomy over driving your business stream forward, as you will be judged on a range of KPIs that include both revenue and gross margin targets; you will start with a blank sheet, but you will retain any clients that you generate, so the role will involve an element of account management. While enthusiasm and drive will count for a lot, it is important that you can demonstrate a track record of new business sales within a B2B environment, both on the telephone and in face to face meetings. You will be articulate and organised with a flair for developing relationships quickly with clients and the ability to ask intelligent questions in order to identify key potential sales avenues. This role could well be the springboard to a long term career within sales!
