Support Desk Assistant



My client is a dynamic and ambitious IT company, following a determined growth plan that will see them double in size over the next two years. To enable them to achieve this, they are now seeking to strengthen their customer support team with the recruitment of an intelligent, enthusiastic and hard working individual to a role that will be a combination of account management and support desk work. From an account management perspective, this will mean maintaining close relationships with some of the newer or smaller customers, giving them the same level of support as the bigger customers. On the support desk, you will be responsible for taking the first line calls, ensuring that you understand precisely the nature of the problem and are able to direct it to the correct person to solve it. Either way, you will need excellent communication skills, an organised and logical mind and the ability to work well within a team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the IT sector but who is not looking for something overly “techie”.
