Systems Accountant

North Manchester

to £25,000pa

My client is a long established business with an excellent reputation in its market place and ambitious plans to move forward. As part of these plans they are now looking to recruit an experienced systems accountant to a new role working with the finance director, the sales director and a number of other key members of the senior management team. The initial focus of the role will be to cleanse the data on the legacy Sage 200 system, ensuring that starting balances are accurate and verified and that access protocols are tightened up. Thereafter, the role will develop further by adding on additional data analysis and manipulation duties, meaning that you will become first point of contact within the business for any report writing or data generation to help senior management plan and track operations. The role will be very high profile within the company, and will bring you into contact with senior managers across all areas of the business; it is vital therefore that you have had experience of Sage 200 and are able both to understand the implications of the data on it and work unsupervised on various aspects of it. Given the projections that the company is looking to achieve, this is an ideal role for an ambitious individual to immediately make an impact, and will also offer you a wide variety of opportunities in addition to supporting any ongoing studies.
