I am recruiting on behalf of one of the UK?s leading independent distributors, which has grown rapidly over the course of the last ten years. The company manages an impressive client portfolio including department stores, blue chip grocery multiples and independent retailers. As part of the next phase of their expansion programme, they are now seeking to appoint a high quality Sales Director to focus on restructuring the Sales Department and formalising distribution channel strategies to achieve long-term business growth. Reporting to the Board, the successful candidate will also be responsible for brand management and development, devising and managing budgets and forecasts and overseeing the management of existing accounts. The ideal candidate will have either a background within brand management, and be looking to move into a role selling to secondary market distribution channels, or be at Manager or Director level within a relevant FMCG producer or provider.
