My client has succeeded where others have failed in the last few years, seeing its turnover double in that time. Counting among its long term customers a host of blue chip names, they are the acknowledged "go to" partner in their chosen field. As part of their current growth and succession plans, they are now looking to recruit an experienced and ambitious commercial manager to a new role working alongside the Managing Director and the engineering team. A proven new business winner and relationship builder, you will have a technical background and a distinguished track record in the M&E services or HVAC sector. In addition to taking on a number of existing, high profile accounts, you will also be charged with developing new clients from scratch; importantly, though, the role does not end once contact has been established, as you will also be the person responsible for quoting for all new business that you generate. You must therefore have significant experience within the sector (preferably from a technical, QS or quotation aspect), a drive to succeed and a desire to prove yourself. Although you will have the full support of the rest of the company and senior management team, this is not a role where you will be managing a team of sales agents; the future success will depend largely on your efforts, but the rewards will be commensurate with the work you put in.
