My client is an ambitious, expanding company offering a unique service proposition to a potentially limitless target market. Following the appointment of a new senior member of staff to drive sales forward, they are now looking to strengthen their sales team with the recruitment of an experienced, driven and self motivated individual to a new role covering the East Midlands. Working from home, you will be expected to generate your own sales visits, targetting both the right sort of business and the correct decision maker within that business. You will be articulate, both verbally and in writing; this is not a sales role that expects you to a huge number of cold calls per day, but you must be adept at playing the long game, developing trust and relationships and realising how to adapt my client’s services to the specific requirements of any individual potential customer. You must have a background in solution selling, with an aptitude for research and tenacity, and have previously worked from home. You will be provided with all the support, training and technical back up to succeed, but you must also accept that remoteness and autonomy from head office demands a level of maturity and self motivation not present in every individual.
