My client is a well established B2B service provider, saving their loyal client base significant sums each and every year. Seeking to capitalise on their reputation and ongoing market conditions which make their services increasingly attractive, they are in a position to offer the right individual a \"once in a lifetime\" opportunity within the organisation. The current board has identified the requirement for an experienced new business development manager to drive customers and markets to the company and position it for further growth. Working closely with the existing account managers, this is a completely autonomous role, but you will be expected to produce results in both a timely and sustainable fashion. So far, so routine. However, the board has also identified a lack of succession planning within the business, and they are therefore looking to recruit someone who will not only deliver increased sales but who also possesses the aptitude and desire to take a seat on the board.
