Quality Systems Manager

My client has been an outstanding success story for more than a decade and in that time has grown from humble beginnings to being a major player in its respective marketplace. In looking to build on their successes thus far, they realise that the profile of the business is changing and its external requirements need to change in line with it. They have therefore identified the need to recruit an experienced Quality Systems Manager to a brand new, autonomous role working within the operations team. This really is a blank sheet of paper; they are looking for someone to develop, implement, communicate and maintain quality systems and policies from scratch, including testing and procedures, and to be the Quality Champion of the new system in terms of bringing on board the inevitable sceptics; there will also be an element of external customer contact as it is vital to the business that they understand, from a quality and compliance aspect, the challenges and requirements of their clients. It is important to understand that this role has the full support of the senior management team, and is vital to the future growth of the company; therefore, they will only recruit the highest quality individual to the role, an individual who can demonstrate previous experience of designing and implementing an appropriate quality system and who possesses the broad shoulders to ensure its adherence within the user groups.
