My client is at an extremely exciting stage of their development, with a bulging order book and clear and ambitious growth plans. As part of these plans, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced and dynamic general manager to an unusual but highly influential new role within the business. As befits a company seeking to double in size, they have carefully selected senior members of staff to key roles covering sales, finance and production, and are now looking to complement these appointments with this recruitment. Working closely with the other members of the senior team, but specifically the MD, your remit will be to take ownership of areas such as customer service, logistics, MIS, HR, internal sales and marketing, and although we are not looking for someone with experience in all these areas, you must be able to demonstrate a broad range of skills and significant levels of commercial achievement. This is an outstanding opportunity offering long term rewards for those with a strong belief in their own ability, and is not for the faint hearted.
