My client is at a fascinating stage in their development. Well established, with a market leading product range and an innovative design team, they have reorganised their sales function to provide greater support to their existing clients and lay the foundations for further growth. To drive this growth, they are now seeking to appoint a dynamic, experienced and ambitious sales individual to a new role, initially creating and then leading the sales teams across Europe. You must have a proven and demonstrable track record of -
* selling to the major multiples, consumer electronics or catalogues,
* introducing new products to virgin markets,
* managing a small number of major clients,
* identifying and establishing new business channels,
* creating and motivating sales teams
This is both an account management and new business development role, and, although the requirement is for someone who has seen it and done it before, there is no scope to rest on one's laurels, such is the importance of this role and individual to the overall expansion strategy of the business.
