My client is a genuine North West success story, with a recession-proof service offering, an exclusively blue chip client base and ambitious, yet achievable growth plans. As part of these plans they are now seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic CIPD part qualified studier to a new role supporting the existing HR Manager. This HR role is unlike any other, as it would be impossible to cover as many areas of employment related issues with any other company. There is no job specification as such, because you will be given increasing responsibility as time progresses, but areas that you will cover include the straightforward (starters, leavers, references, qualification checking, inductions etc), the more interesting (TUPE, amendments to contracts of employment, recruitment, redundancy etc) to the downright scary (grievances, disciplinaries, industrial tribunals etc). At this stage, a broad range of experience is not strictly necessary, but you must display the aptitude, attitude and desire to learn, and have had some experience in a HR or personnel role within an industrial or manufacturing environment. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is willing to learn and keen to progress, but who is also looking for longer term career advancement.
