My client is one of the leading organisations of its type, with a full order book and ambitious, yet achievable, expansion plans. As part of these plans, they are seeking to appoint an experienced, preferably CPC National qualified, individual to a new role managing the day-to-day activities and smooth operation of the fleet of commercial vehicles and company cars. Your duties will include ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and maintained to a high standard, with MOTs and service intervals adhered to, all driver and vehicle paper work is maintained and that vehicles are available to meet planned customer requirements. Additionally it will be your responsibility to make sure that health and safety procedures are followed at all times and that company policies are implemented. Your experience must have included responsibility for cost control and contract negotiation, preferably in a multi-site operation. The successful candidate will be assertive, have good I.T. and interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at all levels, with a flexible approach to work and the ability to work on their own initiative or equally as part of a team.
