The first week in January and already job of the year? My client is at the forefront of its market and is poised for dramatic expansion during the course of 2009. As part of their expansion plans, plans which are based on an ambitious outlook, new business wins and the development of existing clients, they are now seeking to appoint an intuitive and ambitious graduate individual to a new role as a Business Analyst. Although your background may be in IT, finance or even social care, you must have a project driven approach, with your relevant experience gained within a proactive rather than reactive or reporting environment. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to accurately assess your client\'s requirements, translate this into written reports and then work closely with the technical department to generate and implement the solution. You will be a people person, able to develop an empathy for the subject matter and the parties involved, but also with the patience and maturity to view both problem and solution from a number of different angles. This is by no means the easiest job in the world, but it could certainly be one of the most rewarding; any candidate joining at this time could be presented with a range of outstanding career options by the end of the year.
