My client is one of the most dynamic and ambitious businesses in the country, let alone the North West. A couple of years ago they embarked on a policy of investment, acquisition and expansion, and the fruits of these endeavours are now being harvested. As part of the next stage of their development, they are seeking to recruit a part or newly qualified management accountant to a new role reporting to the Group Financial Controller. Responsible for the preparation, interpretation and improvement of management information, including KPIs, cashflows and daily, weekly and monthly accounts, you will manage a team of three and play a significant part in the implementation of a new computerised EPOS system. You must be able to demonstrate a capacity for hard work and a robust personality and be seeking a significant, but career enhancing, challenge. The ideal background will include multi-site experience, preferably from within a retail environment, and exposure to projects and situations outside the traditional accounting remit.
