My client is a dynamic, expanding £100m turnover group offering a wide range of services to a variety of sectors. Their growth has been in part achieved through acquisition and partly organically through the quality of their work and capitalising on opportunities in new markets. They have now reached the stage where they are seeking to appoint an experienced, commercial but above all dynamic financial director to a new role on the senior management team. It is essential that this individual is a graduate qualified accountant with a proven track record at financial director level within a similar size organisation. You must also be able to demonstrate experience of working in a fast growing organisation and implementing robust controls and procedures to ensure the continued financial probity of the business; experience of acquisitions, integrations and rationalisations would also be beneficial. However, given the future plans of the Board, priority will be given to those candidates who have managed companies through funding exercises, particularly AIM or even full market listings. This is an outstanding opportunity with one of the North West’s brightest stars.
